See this movie. Hotel, directed by Mike Figgis (2001). It is psychotic,
hallucinatory, amazing. And...shot entirely with digital cameras
mounted on a contraption that he designed. Great sound, he played
the piano parts, and the most amazing Flamenco dance scene you'd
ever hope to see. Great cast. No formal script.
Don't bother seeing it stoned....it's high enough as it is.
Has a nice documentary about how the film was made if you
rent the
DVD. I didn't recall that he did Leaving Las Vegas in 1995 (hmmm).
He did one just prior called Timecode that I'd love to rent. Apparently
it gave him the inspiration to do Hotel.
