not that it’s necessarily directly relevant here...because it could just be an honest misunderstanding, but, ...how a person so absent of imaginative energies can be an ardent fan of Baerwald...is beyond me.   derivation of that ditty:  i was walking a local [favorite] wooded body of moving water, listening to ol’ uncle Neil on mp3, ...and digging the lyric (remembering Hollywood, Sequoia & Santa Cruz) about a mile away from a favorite steep hill we like to climb (a particularly heady uphill burn where visions are born upon the attentive) as the final leg before the drive home.  so it’s...applicable...and...personal, much like most of the lyrics you hear in your headphones.  & i’d bet ol’ Neil would not mind a bit (if he even took a second to consider it at all) ...that i was inspired by his words.  in fact, its possible he might be coolly annoyed that you couldn’t put two & two together...and see it for what it is:  a warm homage.  mediocrity, which seems to rule nowadays, ...bites.
