Gawd.. was it that long ago? I remember it clearly. Well, at least I
can remember it. In a few years time, things like memory won't be
something to take for granted.
Saw the 1st Ed Sullivan show on my parent's B and W TV
screen (all
anybody had then), and watched it with glee (my idols) while my
Mom and Dad made "comments". examples: 1. Looks like they're
from the slums of England. 2. Yep, definitely the slums. 3. They
won't last. They'll be history in about 2 weeks. 4. Looks like they
could use a good dentist. 5. Well, at least they seem to be well
behaved, not like Elvis. etc.. etc....6. That one's cute at least,,
(referring I think to Paul).
