I posted a response to Andrea and David, before reading this thread.

I as well,  purchased Rosanne's disc. I was surprised on how up sounding some of the tracks were and even though there is some heavy material on this disc. Rosanne seems to be reaching for hope and the need to survive and move on. I think it's her best disc since "Interiors".

She's such a class act!

Btw, John Prine's  "Hello In There" does bring a tear to my eye! and so does a ton of stuff from Paul Kelly and Townes Van Zandt.. Also, the 10,000 Maniacs do a great cover of that JP tune!

I dare anyone to give Archie Roach's (Aussie) "Charcoal Lane" a spin and not cry on almost every track. It's almost unbearable to listen to. .  Peter Gabriel's "Us" ?, well  I can't listen to that anymore. To many memories of me and the bottle! and even though it got me through my darkest hour, I just can't bare it no more.
