include that the people in Washington for the most part have created this little world for themselves and that the majority of them all chase about the same things: money, prestige and power.

Which is quite odd, because regardless of what people try to say when commenting, "they are all the same", I do believe there are profound differences between the two party systems.

Also, I think those who support Democratic party ideals are at a disadvantage in a capitalistic system - capitalism is like nature: it is predatory and adapts to survive. It is a non-feeling machine that keeps rolling no matter what or what it devours. It also has more resources available than the majority of Democratic groups. (Pat will surely disagree, but I would ask him, where are all the Democratic Lockheeds, IBM's, Exxon's and so on.)

But it seems like all of Washington is like a huge High School with all the same sort of cliques and those not in the clique will always be the ones getting the royal screwing.
