In the hopes of ushering in the makings of a hopeful & perseverant New Year,

I’d like to offer-up something that I believe spoke eloquently on behalf of many/

perhaps most Americans I’ve stood around a good fire with.  A letter written

and paid for by...a patriot...& an admirable soul [imho] of heart & reason.

To those influential affluent who bust-their-azzes for sake of the arts and ideas,

...who have, in the past, and will, in the future, ...make earnest stands

how many songwriters, struggling artists, manic poets,

gesso architects, musicians, writers, actors,

playwrights, sufferers of the id-muse

are presently reading this forum?

i’m just curious.  ...just to know...

whether words & ideas are a worthwhile...

notion herein, ...or only the apt mutual appreciation...

of the efforts o’ that working class hero & namesake of this board...

as well as the pizzes and moans of a people in the throws of a world gone greed insane.
