Why would the fact that Sony/BMG is simply trying to abate the rampant piracy of their products through technological means annoying? Unless you're trying to 'pirate' their product - you have nothing to worry about right?
Absolutely false there Dan. If you put the disk in the computer to play it (which many do) it installs the RootKit. I was going to point you to the Amazon link that now has 25 reviews for the Neil Diamond CD but looks like they deleted pages of reviews of people talking about it. There were some other Sony releases that the did the same thing and people were furious. The Attorney General of Texas escalated this case by filing a lawsuit against them. If I can I will avoid buying any products from Sony in the future
