hamell on trial is a pretty explosive performer. i got to see him open for dan bern in anchorage in september. big big aggressive sound for one guy with an acoustic guitar. i see on his website...

when i saw him, it seemed the electronics he played his acoustic through also did a lot to his huge sound, but...

some here would really dig him. some would almost certainly hate him.

i thought of him in the thread below, because he has a great loud song called "don't kill"... i haven't started collecting his cds yet, but i likely will, starting with his new one coming out in february: songs for parents who enjoy drugs
