You probably will love Old Dan's Records. The origin of the title is very interesting. He wanted to write a song about "old dance records", thinking of the 78 RPM era...swing music, Charleston etc...and it became "Old Dan's Records", a song about a guy who passed on, and whose picture is above the fireplace in the living room, where members of his family dance to some of his old RPM's.
Another highly recommended CD (just out, re-release) is : Shadows. First released in 1982. The title song, "Shadows", is I think one of his most beautiful, and poignant romance tunes...very bittersweet..gives you goosebumps.
Enjoy,
Gene
