While we certainly have had our share of bizarre and unusual events lately, it's nice to see some continuity in our lives as well...

• Yet another case of police officers using excessive force, this time from one of the all-time most corrupt departments. Even a hurricane and flood can't wash those imbeciles away.
• The Atlanta Braves fading from the playoffs once again well short of a World Serious win. It's nearly as humorous as the Bosox unable to muster a single postseason win.  
• I won't even get into the Republiklans...
