In these days of digital dominance to hone my
skills I've been painting to a canvas/board
again, It's refreshing and the presence of
creativity has always helped align me.
Back when Dan first started this board I found
his site and asked if he would post a
painting I'd named "Too Late Rites"
http://home.earthlink.net/~taurusmars/2LTRTSP
re-Mess.html
This in turn gave birth to the opportunity of
designing the packaging for "A Fine Mess".
In that same style, spirit;
I'm finishing up a Kevin Gilbert piece which
illustrates the Toy Matinee period.
I wanted create an image from a time period I
first discovered his incredible music. It actually
had existed for years as a thumbnail sketch I
never gave much merit. What inspired me to do
it was the color scheme and composition, and
of course a sudden abundance of free time. I'll
see if I can get Dan to post a sneak peak for
anyone interested. So check back later.JW
