Hey Pat - I don't think EEE is clamoring for the US to fight a PC war. You're making up that term to make his argument seem ridiculous. I think we just want our country to at least adhere to the Geneva Convention...so we can't turn around and moan when someone else doesn't - or worse. And to be quite honest - the real debate shouldn't be anywhere near Gitmo - it should be back to why we're in a war in the first place. Still knowing what you know now - you still support our invasion. I don't. So anything connected to this war - we'll never agree on. And if I recall - I think you once said that if no "smoking gun" was found - you wouldn't be in favor of this war either. It wasn't - and you still are.
