to all (including that wispy mysterious creature whose babblings musical political and literary are our reason for peaceful assembly here...) -

in these strange uncertain days of sturm and drang, may the smile of a loved one wash away your stress, may the laughter of a child melt the year's icy grip on our hope. may simple pleasures grab you by the heart and throttle you and yours in a most pleasing fashion. and may we all enjoy the blessings of forgiveness, understanding and love, this holiday season and in the days to come.

finding this place and getting to know and be provoked/enlightened/greatly amused by its inhabitants was one of the year's victories for me, so best wishes to you all. may your holidays not suck.  :^)
