A suggestion for this and future CD replication. Either get a high speed burner for your computer (I think they can be downloaded for nominal cost) or use a stand alone burner. I use a SONY RCD W 10; burns 'em very quickly once you get your master copy arranged.
Here's my system of attack and it really cuts way down on the time to do these. My first attempt took me forever.
Grab say 15 or 20 of your favorite CD's. Use Windows Media player if you have it, or equivalent, and then pick one track from each that you feel would work well in the context of the other tracks you choose (order is immaterial at this stage). Upload chosen tracks in a file on your Media Library. That will take at most an evening.
Next...go back, preferably with a good glass of wine, nice cup of coffee, Martini, whatever...another time, and arrange the tracks into a good listening order so there is some flow. this can be done with a click of the mouse within your Media Library, and is fun to play around listening to the various intros and see how it segues one into the next.
When you have what you like, burn one master copy of your file.
then..for yet another day, just put the master in your high speed burner and crank 'em out. If you don't have a high speed, it can still get done, just much longer obviously.
I usually include some artwork, and a little letter along with the track listing, describing what and more importantly why I included something. Even slip a few "E" tracks in there on occasion (if it's fitting).
It's big fun. No doubt a project of sorts, but it feels good sending them off, waiting for people's reactions, and then of course, getting your little parcels in return.
