The administration's behavior is an indefensible atrocity for sure. I mean the school's. But it's learned behavior. C(over)Y(er)A(ss) - what 'is' is....but the politics of dancing (remember that song?!) makes it big o - small k.
Did you see the Big Chief praising the Patriots - "They weren't the flashiest players - but they believed in something greater than themselves to achieve the greater good" - who the fuck do you think he was talking about? Do you think he knows the names of the bench warmers?
I love winning as much as the next guy - but my sensai (Stan Lee) - told me that with much asswhuppingability - comes much headisupassness...wait - was that Stan Lee or Stan Lee2? Fuctifiremember.
Onto the Def Jam - I wish I could be def (I think) - I can jam (sorta) but POETRY - watched it with some english teaching friends - I highly recommend you lovers of lyrics *rent* the Def Poetry Jam dvd - a lot of it is ranting -hence - not worth owning - but some of it was mind opening - particularly this one guy's poem about reparations...my favorite is a guy whose mother is part snuff/part choctaw.
Heinlein -
"I've never understood how God could expect his creatures to pick the one true religion by faith - it strikes me as a sloppy way to run a universe."
Jubal Harshaw anyone? Now there's a Stranger...
Please share your thoughts if/once you've seen the def jam poetry dvds.[a hush fell over the crowd]
