Robert - good to see a fellow player. Disc golf rules! Low impact on the environment and allows for dual use of public lands. I play at least 100 rounds/yr while employed, upwards of 300 in years when I'm not. We play in the snow, we play in the mud.
I'm the faculty advisor for our campus disc golf club. This is a huge hotbed for the sport - the two time defending world champ is from here, and another player that's in the top five.
If you ever make it up to the midwest, let me know. The finest course I've ever seen is right by the Madison airport.
