No, I wasn't enjoying that lip-synch fest, but was impressed with the hair piece on Bon Jovi. And I wouldn't have even noticed the drummer's shirt if it weren't for the fact that my dad's tv has a 57" screen.

Bump up the SPF there Kevin, the sun is clearly getting to you. As much as I appreciate your efforts to psychoanalyze, I'm quite sure I don't yearn to be bent over a couch. Do you think I posted that observation as a slam against homosexuals?  What an extrapolation - I like Eminem so I must hate gays. Let's see... I like Willie Nelson, so I must cheat on my taxes. I like Nirvana so I must shoot smack. I like Hogan's Heroes so I must... nevermind. But you were right about one thing, Marshall Mathers and I do something in common - we're both good and loving fathers.

My hope comment alluded to the possibility that we, as a nation, may  become a little less prudish, maybe a little more likely to act outrageously and less thin-skinned. I do dislike boy bands, and anytime one can get a slam in on them, particularly gratis on a major network, it's a beautiful thing. The shirt was quite funny, and I'm not going to pull on some PC mask and stammer "it's insensitive to gay rights issues", especially not after belittling native Americans trying to provide for their families.

I live in the zip code with the highest concentration of homosexuals in the entire country (look it up - 53704), so I hardly need to be schooled on what's okey dokey to think or say from someone living in that bastion of liberal thought, Goldwater country, Arizona.
