Having Peter send me 2 disks by Paul Kelly who is an excellent musician started me thinking how many excellent Austrailian bands I have followedover the years. Anyone remember any of these
1. Men at Work - it got so bad in the Dallas/Fort worth area that radio
stations agreed NOT to play any Men at Work for a weekend. I loved the 1st 2 albums. Colin Hay has done some solo work since but.......
2. Midnight Oil - Who can forget "Beds are Burning" but their best work was on the next Album called "Blue Sky Mine". Tree huggers for sure but I loved that album.
3. Hoodoo Gurus - I made the mistake of buying albums after I bought
"Magnum Cum Louder" which was a good album. But none other than that
4. The Church - Remember "Under the Milky Way" about the time of Boomtown
this was good album. I actually went to see them in a small club which was
a mistake
5. INXS - A couple of very good albums especially Kick.
