Total Information Awareness is a project connected with the Homeland Security bill. It poses a serious and imminent threat to the privacy of every American. This program will seek to "data mine" electronic information from every American Citizen including email and web transactions, phone bills, credit card activity, medical records, academic records, grocery store purchases, all forms of government records - DMV, tax records, et cetera and would effectively create a dossier on every citizen in this country.
