Well I would have to say he quit under duress. You would agree would'nt you?

I really have not followed this story and it was you who brought it to my attention. In the little I've read it seems his comments are, once again, being blown up. Have they even found, printed, shown what he actually said? I don't know why he quit but I will give you that his rapid exit looks like he was leaving because there was some major issue. Still there is a big difference between quit and fired.

He fessed up to it on the Oreilly took his lumps and made no excuses. I thought it was a conflict of interest that he did not disclose it.

I don't know, your reply seems to put all the guilt on Armstrong Williams in this case. Don't you think Bushco was way out of line offering a quarter of a million taxpayer bucks to a reporter to promote what is obviously a failed program? Don't you think that's the real crime here, not so much that Williams took the money but that Bushco offered it in the first place? That seems a far more hideous manipulation of the media than even Rathergate. I mean doesn't it? Bushco is paying reporters to sell you their crap...no?

Good Talking point
Are the French serious about fighting the War on Terror? Judging by their position on Hezbollah, they're not. What else would explain why the French government won't label Hezbollah a terrorist group?

I say we lower the economic boom on that weasel Chirac. Not to worry Orielly's leading the charge. The man is my absolute hero

Why do we care at all what the French are doing in terms of the "War on Terror?"

Why do we want to French bash? What do we gain from that? Don't you think it seems more like anyone who comes out hard against Bushco's flawed and ignorant policy gets tarred and feathered 24/7 by these right wing mouth pieces? What the French are up to is less than a minor concern to us right now, so why are these clowns like O'Reilly trying to work people into a froth about it? It's freakin' pointless. This story and the "Oil for Food scandal" are right wing hatchet jobs to try and make those who oppose Bushco look bad. It's no accident that the right wing mouthpieces have blown their trumpet on this until they were blue in the face. These are pointless stories that serve a single purpose...to muddy the waters for Bushco. Let's just call it OPERATION SMOKESCREEN.

And speaking of Ward Churchill it is coming out that he may have not been quite the native Indian he professed to be. Bye Bye Ward you fraud. Good riddance too.

What exactly do you think Ward Churchill get's out of this? Aside from a bullseye painted on his forehead and a lifetime of watching his back? He did not improve his quality of life with any of this and don't you find it odd they are on him now about this when he wrote this thing over 3 years ago? What would you call the POINT about all this Ward Churchill crap aside from creating a ruckus to distract from what the Bushco boys are up to?

And where the hell is Baerwald? Andrea is he ill? I'm worried

Well, if he's reading the news I'd guess he is spending a lot of time puking his guts up. It is disgusting after all.
