PHOENIX, Arizona (AP) -- U.S. Sen. John McCain said Monday that he has "no confidence" in Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld, citing Rumsfeld's handling of the war in Iraq and the failure to send more troops.

Rummy said last week ~“you don’t go to war with the army you want, you go to war with the army you have”. What a crock of Sting! He had more than a year to get “us” ready for this invasion of a sovereign state – it’s not like we were attacked by them and were forced to immediately respond. That dickhead wanted us in there with even fewer troops!
If John McCain hadn’t left 1 ½ of his nuts at the Hanoi Hilton, his criticism of Rummy yesterday would have ended in a call for the Secretary’s head.
