He mentions David Suzuki.  When I was growing up in Canada, during High School and College, Dr.Suzuki was a hero of sorts.  Aside from being one of the world's greatest scientific geniuses in the field of Genetics, he is a very engaging speaker, teacher and had a great TV show (maybe he still does).   He is quite the liberal and a super environmentalist.   Can't say enough about him.  I still have a book of his entitled Genetic Analysis which sits on my shelf, and which I still cannot understand; too complex.   Somebody told me once that he used to do a lot of acid, but maybe that was just talk?? Hmmmmmmmmm...
