The Fly in the Ointment is that most of Ohio voted on Punch cards. Blackwell stopped the purchase of the diebold machines shortly after the statement hit the press and people started asking about printed receipts - As a result, the only electronic voting in the state were counties that had already purchased the machines. As for waiting in line, most of the polls had the same amount of machines that they have always had for previous elections. Put that against a record turnout and you have long lines. I'm not sure that this is going to go anywhere, but these guys - Bev Harris in particular - have made a career out of this - they have to see it through to the (in all likelihood) bitter end.
