Prayer was every morning then the pledge. Our teachers let you leave the room if you had a note from your parents.This went on .From 1st grade till I made to High school, (71-80) Then court battles and law suits ended it. The bad kids I speak of..... Colombine, Thurston High These may or may not be from prayer being removed bit I think they are. The number of violent crimes in our schools and among kids has risen since prayer was removed. I dont have the time at the moment but If you like after work I will research and provide links that back my statment up.
