I suspect your mother is extra.blessed for keeping the confidence. I know she has my esteem.(Especially before television), there were many satisfied americans living in shacks, who didn't know how poor they were by the Honkies standard, but did 'know' familiar joy and entry level contentment*.This isn't about you James, just feeling philosophic and poetic simultaneously. Not with the best results necessarily.-)* which must be the best kind because it is the least sullied.
