Glad to see a fellow music fan embrace good new music and continue a nod to the past. SO much great music is comming out, everyday.

I wasn't a fan of U2 after Actung Baby either, but after picking up their second greatest hits collection, I have to say I was very impressed. Their last disc was o.k. and I will most likely purchase their new one, even though I don't care for the single. The Joshua Tree is by far their shinning moment. I remember the first time I heard it, I cried. A few months later I flew out to Arizona to visit my brother. My walkman played the album on auto reverse the whole trip. Every time I listen to the record I think of how beautiful the vast empty desert outside of Phoenix was and my trip up north to see tSedona and the grand canyon for the first time.. It's a corny statement, but I find listening to the record  to be a very spiritual experience for me. That one, Travis's The Man Who, Van's Astral Weeks, and The Waterboy's This Is The Sea are others to name a few.

Cheers, Kevin
