Rachel is 13.  I noticed that she had a Bush/Cheney sticker on one of her school books the other day and I had to smile.  Just to be fair though we don't just speak glowingly about conservatives in our home.  She understands that much of our support for the republican party in general stems from our prolife position.  She loves her grandparents very much and she knows that they vote democrat.  We talk about some of the good things democrats have done with respect to concerns for the environment and working people.  She's aware that both sides have their shortcomings and strengths.  Mostly she's just a kid who loves her dance and violin classes, being creative with crafts and being involved in school and with her friends both in person and chatting online.
