...I Heart Huckabees? I saw it over the weekend and liked it a lot. Thought it would be interesting to hear what other folks thought about it. I think it's the first post 9/11 film that I've seen that seems to try and touch on where we are at emotionally and mentally sort of...that's not to say that the film is about 9/11, it's not, but the subject matter and the general mood of the film seems to me to reflect something no other film I've seen (post 9/11) has gone near. I've sort of been waiting to see what kind of films or music people might make that reflects how we've been changed by that event but so far, at least for me, there's been nothing. I thought "I Heart Huckabees" was sort of the start of that or may be a start to it.
Or maybe you'll just tell me I'm out of my mind.
