You make some good points (as did Andrea's article),  and I should have been a little more explicit in the preface to my above post by saying that I'm not thrilled with Bush's environmental record either.  I still maintain however, that the article's assertion that the press has treated his record with bias is essentially a correct one.

I am interested in hearing opinions on the ANWR issue at some point in the near future.  I support opening ANWR for drilling (hugely unpopular I know), but don't have time to get into a long post about why at the moment.  This seems to be an issue that has been mentioned briefly here several times though, and I'm curious as to why so many are especially passionate about that issue in particular.
