To this day, I will never understand how any intelligent person can watch Bush perform and not be embarrassed for him. 

He simply cannot speak in correct grammar nor think on his feet.  His constant "ums" and pauses makes me wonder if he does not have some sort of mental problem. 

And I wish someone would explain to me, what is so wrong with saying you are for something, vote for it, and then try to improve it while complaining about its faults, i.e., Patriot Act, No Child Left Behind and so on.  To me, trying to improve upon existing things shows more intelligence than hoping in that canoe and going over the waterfall while yelling, "Resolve, dammit!  I got resolve!!!"
