Maybe 10, 12 years ago I was in a used vinyl shop with a long gone friend who was hip to Boomtown and reccomended it/you. I would have bought it on the spot just to hear Swallowed by the Cracks, but he snatched it back(literally snatched it-the few of us who 'get you' are passionate about you sir;). Not long after, I returned to the store and I was pleased to find somebody had ditched their copy and I got my first copy of Boomtown on cassette and listened to it alot(not enough of it is on the oldie radio, no offense). So Triage was a no brainer, that turned out to be genius. I tell you true, the longer I live, the more I adore that dedication.

Sorry...most of the time it is the stark truth of your words, pretty clever titles at times too-Toughest Whore in Babylon-is that a word picture, I guess so! When that it came on at the end of that Penn movie, my wife's ears perked up also. You have a distinctive voice as well. Suffice it to say I listened to it several times before we rewound the movie. Still kick myself I didn't buy the movie when I saw it for next to nothing at Kmart.

Some months ago I had a client, the classical pianist Marc-Andre Hamelin, and he asked if I could reccomend some interesting music. Later, on his departure to Montreal I gave him a cassette of Triage. He smiled at the dedication. Seemed genuine. Turned him on the dbIS too.

You are a spiritually confused man if you think a Jew should be going to church! y'know?-)

It's your honest words mostly db. Although Triage was also about the unusual soundscape enhancing those great word pictures.

I don't like everything you do, but you are one of the few artists I can't wait to buy used. That is a compliment, btw. I buy next to nothing new.

Truth is truth regardless your politics sir.

I am curious, how is it working out raising your child, or do you have more than one now(hope so)? I hope it goes well, as the privelege of raising children is the best and most rewarding part of this life. At least for most folks.

Be well
