Probably he was deported because of all those silly songs (heh..heh..).  Well his name now is Yusuf Islam, and for whatever reasons he is on a list of potential terrorists.  Maybe it had something to do with the nasty things he said about Salman Rushdie.  I dunno.  I suppose once you're on the "list", you don't get into the country anymore.
