decriminalization has always struck me as odd. As a young lad I lived in Oregon(one of the most amazing ecologies, based on variety) and reefer was decriminalized for a time. The cops would do the same thing. Sometimes they'd pocket the weed, but usually the pipe and away you'd go. Nonetheless it strikes me as an odd half measure but more agreeable than our idiotic prohibition.

How long has it been decriminalized? Any opinions about the result societally? Any talk of reversing the decision to decriminalize? I believe Oregon's decriminalization law lasted only a few years before it became illegal again. Do you have to pay a fine, like a traffic ticket?

Just curious too Mick. It's a terrible drain and divisiveness in the States.
