I'd say a little of both. I drove 2 1/2 hours to Boston to see (and talk to) someone whose music I have enjoyed for 16 years. He's one of the few artists that speaks to my inner sole. (I can't believe I just wrote that but I think most of you here know what I mean.)
Some people are born lucky, others have luck thrust upon them. David deserves much more. He'll have my support al long as he wants it.
