But...map aside.  I think you're correct.  Bush will probably win, based upon the current momentum, and especially if they nab O'mama...I think it'll be a slam dunker.    This is one election where I nearly wish both candidates would lose, but I'll probably vote JFK, as a vote away from Bush more than a vote actually for JFK.   It's interesting...Maryland will undoubtedly go to JFK, but carried by the weight of the DC suburbs and Baltimore.  The rest of the state is solid Bush (like ALL of my neighbors).
