Nah, Michael Moore is not a fanatic. He's a left-wing provocateur for sure but he doesn't meet any of the criteria for fanaticism Elie Wiesel spelled out.

For what it's worth I don't think Bush and Cheney are fanatics either. I think they're power mad greedheads but there's no overarching ideological framework for their actions other than power and greed.

Cheney is, I think, far too cynical to be a fanatic.
