I don't mean to be a pessimist, but for our leaders to be going around saying we will "win" a war on terrorism is a terrible way to mislead the country.  The Govt needs to prepare us for the future and terrorism. 

Have we won a  politically declared "war" on anything?  Crime? Poverty? Disease?

It's like when Rumsfled stated there was not a guerilla war going on in Iraq when we all knew there was one.  The Govt failed to prepare the US for what was to follow.

Just like this "war" on terrorism.  Bush had said one of the most honest things on that bus, but has taken it back.  Shameful.
