You know when I listen to the Doors these days I can't help but think that Jim Morrison has the delivery of a lounge singer. Just imagine a middle-aged Jim, overweight, combover, belting out Crystal Ship or Love Me Two Times at the Silver Dollar in Reno backed by a smooth jazz combo or big band....
