Rang and spoke to Kyle yesterday - what a lovely fellow. He seemed in good spirits. He didn't need to return to hospital and is slowly readjusting to life at home and to getting back into his wheelchair. Apparently, after not being in the wheelchair for so long (5 months in hospital) it is difficult to get used to it again.

We talked about the people here - I think he's a bit overwhelmed - and about music, TV and books. I discovered we both like BBC crime shows. I certainly intend to keep in touch. I think he had another doctor's appointment today, but is looking forward to getting out and about a bit more. It was 32 degrees C there yesterday - far better than the 17 plus wind, rain and hail that we're getting!
