With each post Kevin you come across as more lost and blinded by your desire to see anything including lies bring Kerry down. You ignore everything anyone says to you and just make this post as if you haven't heard a thing. It might interest you to know that the largest contributor from Texas to this Swift Boat Vets Against Kerry group is a Houston businnessman named Bob Perry, who just happens to be a pal of guess who? That's right...Karl Rove. Then there is Merrie Spaeth who is listed as the groups media contact and who is the one that has been organizing their media campaign. Ms. Spaeth just happens to have been married to a fellow named Tex Lezar. Tex Lezar ran for lieutenant governor of Texas in 1994 with guess who? That's right...George W. Bush. Another pal of Ms. Spaeth, who got her a job coaching and advising Ken Starr when he was taking down Clinton, is a fellow named Theodore Olsen. Olsen is so buddy-buddy with Spaeth he is even the godfather of her daughter. Do you know what job Olsen holds at present? I bet this makes you say "Oh my!"...Olsen is currently solicitor general in the Justice Department for the Bush administration. Oh how naughty this group is!
Ms. Spaeth met Houston lawyer (and SBVAK leader) John O'Neill through her husband Tex Lezar who was a partner of Mr. O'Neill. Mr. O'Neill's Dallas law firm is O'Neill, Pierce, Wilson, and Fulkerson. Margaret Wilson from this firm served as counsel to guess who...while he was governor of Texas...that's right! George W. Bush.! Wow! Amazing isn't it! Ms. Wilson also followed our boy Bushie to Washington where she served as deputy counsel in the Department of Commerce for a time. Imagine that, a partner of John O'Neill's (leader of SBVAK) at his law firm in Dallas served as George W. Bush's counsel when he was governor of Texas and then he gave her a job in DC. That's just incredible isn't it?
Oh yeah, and David is correct about O'Neill being hired by Charles Colson in 1971 to attack Kerry. Did you know Rove worked for the Nixon adinistration as well? Did you know that most of these SBVAK guys don't even know John Kerry and have no knowledge of what he did in Viet Nam? Did you know two of them came and praised Kerry during his 1996 Senate run? Did you know the SBVAK guy that claims to be a doctor that treated Kerry is not listed on any medical documents as a doctor that treated Kerry. In the specific case he says he recalls treating him (which he said only came to him in 2003) the paperwork states it was another doctor and is signed by this other doctor? Did you know that some of these guys that are blowing smoke about Kerry now wrote and signed glowing reviews of the guy back when he was in Nam? Do you understand that they painted a bullseye on Kerry only after he returned from Viet Nam and testified? Did you know Ms. Spaeth told O'Neill that he "sounded like a crazed extremist" and he should "button his lip" and avoid the press until she could tone down and package his message for the media? Which is her job. Did you know they hired private investigators to find and distort information about Kerry? You'd think that genius Bob Novak, amazing journalist that he is, could have found all this easy to locate information before he wrote his book review. Novak has never been much for fact checking though.
