Jeebus, Kevin!

John O'Neill, the leader of "Swift Boats Against Kerry", or whatever they call themselves, is literally a creation of the Richard Nixon White House. Nixon got nervous about this "eloquent war hero" (Kerry) speaking out against the Vietnam war and told his aide Charles Colson to try to find a way to counter him. Colson created a veteran's group, found John O'Neill, stuck him in as head, and got him some media time, including the famous Cavett debate. He was heavily coached by the Nixon people, and they funded the operation.

His writing partner, Jerome Corsi is a particularly vulgar extremist, sort of the male equivalent of Ann Coulter.

Let them go, Kevin. These bozos are not going to help you, this information will come out about them, and they'll crash and burn. It's flatout hogwash, all of it.

Meanwhile, speaking of insanity, how about the fact that this last terror alert, you know, the one that was "different" from all the other warnings-- was A: primarily based on information that dated back before 9/11/01, and B: outed a precious intelligence source that we had in Al Qaeda. They burned a deep cover agent so they could detract from the democrats' convention bounce. Wake up, man!
