I didn't see the interview but Senator Byrd has been a most eloquent opponent of the Bush Administration. As to the current lineups ties to the Nixon Administration I know that Rumsfeld at least goes back that far. Their reach is formidable and even if John Kerry is elected they won't be put off. The Right Wing is here to stay and they hold most of the cards....
