Mic works if you plug it in, David.  Hell, I say bring it on...I love spoken word, and DB does quite a bit of that in his music, so I think that idea is very a propos for this project.   I believe the important thing here is ....(oh shit I hate to say this)...passion.  Feeling, my brother, feeeling...

And, I have a hunch, the amount of talent amongst our board visitants is enormous; with Jeff's sample just one of many delights.   It would be great if some folks got their kids involved also.  Let 'em sing, bang on a tambourine whatever.   If your gear is primitive (mine is also), send it anyways.  I have a small bare-balls board, and  for years before I got it,  I just taped things I was writing on a cassette.   

And..we do need to paddle together sometime, but that is another issue.  BTW...I wrote 2 nice tunes sitting in my friend Wayne's canoe last summer, with our beat-up but trusty canoe-trip guitar, so maybe it's not a totally unrelated issue.  Dan's original idea for this project, evolved out of a bike trip, so go figure...
