Just got two new cds in the mail...

The first is Black Earth by Bohren & Der Club of Gore.  Wow...this is dark, moody jazz......makes you want to sit in a darkend room and look out the window on a freezing night at the cold, heartless city while sipping bourbon.

The other one is Release the Hound by Hound Dog Taylor.   This is a hard rocking bluesman made up of two guitars and a drummer.  Hound Dog is no longer with us, but when the depression from Black Earth gets to be too much, pop this one in and get ready to pound the cold beer and move around.
