Pat:
Once again, another supposition concerning me is dead wrong, but there really is no surprise to that.
I am quite used to it by now.
I have had the GOOGLE TOOLBAR for almost two years now, before it was officially released. The reason why I mentioned it, was because this came up in a conversation I had earlier today, and I thought perhaps others here might appreciate knowing about this, in the event that they as of yet, do not.
As you know, not everyone here is a whiz at the PC or Mac! It was for their benefit, you know.
You know Pat, I have been involved with computers since 1981, when I got my first machine. Since then, I have been a beta tester for Microsoft Windows 95, NT, and I released a 120 page Registry FAQ online the very day Win95 was publicly released August 24, 1995. By the way, that FAQ has been downloaded by over 250,000 people, and led to my being involved with a book on that subject, as co-author.
I am also a graphic artist, which I have earned a living at since 1978, when I was doing layout by paper mechanicals. Now of couse, I have the entire suite of Adobe layout and design tools.
I have also beta tested games, and a variety of other software. So, your assumption that I am just now hearing of the Google Toolbar is based upon what?
I am curious as to where you came up with this idea, considering that I am "just learning computers and all," at least according to the usual suppositions, which are not grounded in fact of any sort that matches the reality of my experience.
I have had the Google Toolbar since it was in beta.
Peace and Prayers,
Kent Daniel Bentkowski - Buffalo, NY USA
