Icon Draft and dodging

This article smells bogus to me - too many misspellings, wrong usages &c. for it to be the work of a well informed writer.

As a side note, even granting its veracity I have to disagree with the statement that draft dodging would be more difficult than it was in the 60s. The military is very anti-drug these days and won't accept a volunteer who doesn't pass a drug screen. It would seem obvious that pretty much everybody being summoned for a draft physical will have urine assaying high in all sorts of thing.

Then there's "Don't ask, don't tell". I'm guessing a lot of people will be telling, even if it means telling lies. It's not a sure thing that Canada would try to seal its border either and it's even less likely that they could.

I do think a draft attempt of some sort will be unavoidable if the U.S. persists in engaging in military adventures like Iraq but there are a lot of practical difficulties with putting one in place, That's a good thing as far as I'm concerned.
