I'm searching for a popular song and am asking for help finding it.....

It was in Sunday night's episode of Line of Fire....

The singer sounds like either Lou Reed or Donovan, or maybe Bowie.  It's real slow and has sort of a middle eastern sound to it.  There are real light periodic symbols clashing in it and heavy drumbeats.  The possible chorus contains something like....."can see for a thousand years." 

Would appreciate any help....

Also, does anyone know of a site that searches for songs by lyrics in the songs?  I've found them where it is by artist and song title...
