Not to rain on anyone's parade, but my dad told me today that he has never seen the state of the nation in such horrible shape with the world at large in his life. EVER. On that note, did anyone see Meet the Press today? An interestingly odd thing occured. Tim Russert was about to ask Colin Powell his last question when all of a sudden the camera was pulled off Powell. You see this guy walking in the direction of where Powell is and Powell saying "go away" with Tim Russert saying "someone, I believe your press aide, has pulled the camera off of you. Would you please bring it back." (well probably not exactly those words, but to that effect.) Powell then directs the camera to be brought back on him, which it was and the interview continued. Weird.
