Kent,

There does not always have to be tremendous spurting blood in neck injuries.  Several varibables can influence such a thing.  For example, if a gaping incision is made that allows for more blood to escape from more areas (veins and arteries) would decrease the amount of pressure pushing the blood from the body.  Also, no one has questioned if Berg was possibly drugged.  A depressant could also influence the blood spurting.  As could dehydration.

And if you look at the video clip (I have only seen the ones on the internet) I believe I saw massive bleeding and a large blood pool developing beneath Berg's body.

As for Rense.com's point of the head being lifted up, blood does drip down, but what we don't know for sure is how long it was between the removal of Berg's head and the lifting of Berg's head.

In regards to the "clean cut", remember, the neck is largely soft tissue except for the spinal column.  Once the soft tissue holding the spinal column was cut, a very clean cut could be made.  But what I saw did not look like a clean cut, it looked like it was made just beneath the jaw and head.

When it comes to death and the human body, one thing I have learned is that this topic is very, very complex.  Many variables influence many things and this allows for many people to point out pet theories, while at the same time, many logical explanations can be made.

For exampe, Rense.com makes an issue of military time.  How many of us are technology idiots and might have a hard time getting that off the camera?  Or the military "parade rest" stance - I don't find it hard to believe that members of these groups will have former military people involved and I don't think the "parade rest" stance is unique to American soldiers.

And if there is one thing we American's constantly overlook in regards to these terrorists is that they are intelligent.  We have been conditioned to think of them as only evil criminals.  We have got to change our thinking and start realizing that these people are very ingenious and we must quit underestimating them and their terrible skills.  (None of this is praise - but so many war scholars and military tacticians have always said you have to understand your enemy to defeat them - something we have seemed to avoid because our idiot in chief blends this sort of thinking with giving aid to the enemy).
