Not more than an hour ago I was thinking along the same lines as you. I see little to no evidence of anyone changing an opinion. Mostly there is a lot of digging in of one's heels. It often seems like pointless exchanges. What does that say about us (myself included? Still, I'll probably be back for more. As split as the board is politically, I've been surprised how little I have in common musically with the majority of board members (other than our shared appreciation for Baerwald). Sure there are some kindred musical souls (and thanks for the trades, you know who you are) but by and large, I can't relate to much of the music discussed.
